Rebecca Wild's Story
Rebecca, founder of Wild Music School, has been making music since her beginnings. Born into a family or musicians, she started creating wild music before she could walk. She began playing violin at age three, performing at age four, and has been working as a professional music teacher since the age of sixteen. She loves helping others grow their love of music too and is skilled at drawing forth the intelligence, confidence, potential and creativity of every individual. Rebecca has a passion and talent for bringing ease into her student's playing and all aspects of music. She strongly believes that music is natural to every human and that learning music skills should be fun and full of experimentation.

VIOLIN & FIDDLE IMMERSION CLASSES
A joyful and wholistic path to becoming
a fabulous strings musician.
When you sign up for a Violin/Fiddle Immersion Classes, you or your child will have begun your journey to creating an amazingly strong foundation as a musician. These group classes are available for various age groups and welcome students at any playing level, because this is where the magic happens- through surrounding yourself with other musicians and playing together in an inspiring, social learning environment.
In her 20 years of teaching, Rebecca Wild has discovered that music, like any language, is meant to be learned through "conversation". During class, Rebecca offers students all the technical instruction and individual feedback needed to develop the best skills, while they learn to truly make music with others.

FOLKESTRA ANTIGONISH
Folk Music Orchestras
Folkestra is a lively ensemble for violin, viola, cello, bass and other instrument players, of any level. We explore a variety of genres of music, including Celtic and other folk traditions from around the world. There are ensembles for children and adults, meeting weekly in Antigonish and Saint Andrews areas. Come play with us!

When you book a one-on-one lesson with Rebecca, you can be assured of that individual attention and focus you need to progress on your musical journey. Private lessons can be an important aspect of your complete violin program. We encourage students to use an occasional "one-on-one" to enhance their experience and development with a Violin Immersion Program or group class/ensemble.
